'goodbye'

8 mei 2016 - San Francisco, California, Verenigde Staten

Hi!!
So this is going to be my last post... Today we went to San Francisco, unfortunately the weather wasn't too good. It rained all morning and we could only enjoy the sun for like 5 minutes, maybe less... But anyway, I had a really great day! San Francisco was amazing! Pip and I took the train around 10.30 am and we arrived one and a half hours later. First we wanted to see China town, which is a 'town' in San Francisco with only Chinese things. It was quite a long walk there and at first we couldn't really find it, but eventually we did. I thought China town was quite disappointing, there was no nice atmosphere and it looked quite poor. Well now I'm thinking about it, it might have been the weather, I don't really know. After we visited China town we walked around the city a bit more. Around 2.30 pm Amanda called to ask where we were so they could pick us up. Then we drove to Lombard Street, which is the curviest and one of the steepest streets in the world. After making some pictures, we drove down Lombard Street, which was really cool! Next up, we went to the Golden Gate Bridge, this was really cool! We walked on the Golden Gate Bridge and we went to this spot where you could see the whole bridge together with the skyline of the city. After the bridge we went to a chocolate factory, which was called Ghirardelli Square. After this we went back home, because Shannon and Edie would come over, so we could have another 'goodbye' dinner. We ate Japanese, which is not my favourite, but Pip really liked it! Edie and Ryan had some 'goodbye' gifts for us, which was a self-made card and a bracelet, this was so cute! I'm going to miss everyone here so bad and I really hope I will see them again one day! I had an amazing internship, I really loved it!

Xxx,
