Hi!
My name is Daantje van Helmond and for my education I have to do an English internship. It has always been my dream to visit the USA, so together with Pippelijn, my best friend, I started looking for a place to stay in the USA. After sending a thousand emails, we met Eric and Amanda, they live in San Jose and they were happy to have us. Eric and Amanda have a son called Ryan. For my internship I will be an au-pair for him. Pippelijn will be an au-pair for Edie, Edie is the child of Shannon and Mark. Shannon and Mark are close friends to Eric and Amanda. In two days Pippelijn and I will fly to San Francisco, I am so incredibly excited to finally meet all of them and to do all kinds of amazing things! I hope I will improve my English and I hope I will get a little bit more familiar with the American culture.
